Paul Rudd Callback
A long time ago (1991), in a galaxy very close to you (this one), Nintendo released the Super Nintendo.
The launch commercial starred an unknown actor named Paul Rudd.
It was his first on-screen role.
In 2024, that original spot unexpectedly caught fire again across social media and news outlets.
So when Nintendo launched the Switch 2 more than 30 years later, the idea felt obvious.
Bring Paul Rudd back.
We re-released the OG spot at the same time and quickly followed up with a stitch featuring a special 1 to 1 cut. Fan’s of course made their own and flooded social platforms with the campaign.
