Hey, I’m Sean.
I’m the one with the eyeballs.
I make stuff.
Ads. Ideas. Art.
Things meant to move people. Space has enough stuff already.
Some of it runs for thirty seconds.
Some of it sticks around longer.
Here’s some of that work.
Work without a brief.
Paintings, drawings, and work made for no other reason than wanting to make it.
More of this stuff lives here.
Works in progress, experiments, and studio moments.
Also a good place to say hi.
Well, hello again.
You want to learn more about me? No, it’s fine.
It’s not awkward at all.
I was born in Chicago at a very young age. Ever since, I’ve been making stuff. I spent most of my early years drawing, painting, and trying to turn ideas into things you could actually look at.
My senior year of college, I taught myself Photoshop and HTML. I earned a BFA from Northern Illinois University and landed a job as a graphic designer. From there I moved into interactive design and Flash animation, then eventually into art direction at Tribal DDB. (R.I.P.) I spent years working on McDonald’s and loved it.
Later, I moved over to Leo Burnett as an ACD, where I started building full campaigns, including TV. Somewhere along the way I became a CD, without ever losing the desire to get my hands dirty and actually make things.
Now I make commercials by day and art by night, usually with a sense of humor and a belief that ideas should feel human and hold together wherever they show up.
